I am a professional wedding photographer and magazine style wedding album designer (digital wedding albums) based in Sydney, Australia. I have international photography experience and have completed professional photography assignments in Australia, Europe and South Africa after completing my photography studies at the New York Institute of Professional Photography in 1999. pre-requisites for magazine style wedding albums
- You need to provide me with clear written AND SIGNED approval from your original wedding photographer(s) that you have all the copyright to all your images and that you are allowed to outsource the development of your wedding album design. Before I start designing your album, I will follow up with the mentioned photographers to ensure that I am legally allowed to work on your photos.
- For me to design an artistic and romantic wedding album telling your unique love story, I need to have at least 250 - 300 photos to choose from. I prefer working with 600+ if possible. You will have to give me a selection of 50 photos you would really like in the album.
- All photos have to be in high resolution.
- No nude or morally objectionable images as judged by the general public will be allowed. I will not get into any discussions about photo's I have disregarded.
- You need to be aware that the design and production time can take up to 6 - 8 months due to my attention to detail and professional service to guarantee you receive a wedding album you love and which adheres to my proven results in wedding album design standards.
- I will retain copyright on the album design and retouched photographs.
- Retouching and enhancements of all photos to be included in the wedding album.
- Designing the album layout.
- Premium leather bound magazine style wedding album of 20 pages (40 sides) and in a size of 14” x 10”
- 3 Free single side of a page re-designs after viewing the sample of your design before print production.

When you commission me to design your wedding album, you can expect the workflow to look something like the following.
- I receive the copyright release documents and DVD with high-resolution images and ensure that all pre-requisites are met.
- I will then send you a confirmation that I have received it all in good order and am willing to start the design or contact you with concerns I have.
- You will have to deposit a non-refundable album design fee of 50% before I will start working on the design.
- I will arrange a pre-design album planning session either at my photography studio in Sydney or via telephone to ensure I capture the essence of your experience and design requests.
- I am available for all your questions and suggestions during the album design phase via e-mail.
- After I have completed the album design, I will invite you to view the layout at my photography studio and discuss any changes as required. If you are unable to visit me at my studio, I will provide you with a private link on my website for you to view your album design and we can discuss any changes over the telephone and e-mail.
- After I have received your ‘sign-off’ signature or e-mail to indicate that you are happy with the design I will prepare the wedding album to be dispatched to the professional world-renowned album binders I employ.
- The remaining amount including all extra fees and charges need to be paid after you have signed off on the final design and before it is sent off to the professional wedding album binders.
- Once I receive the album from the album binders, I will commence a total quality assurance procedure and when I am satisfied with the quality, I will dispatch the album to you by courier or arrange a pick-up time for you to collect the album.
